The post in Sudan is based on a legacy of antiquity, experience and achievements that have exceeded 150 years in the history and life of Sudan and its people in rural and urban areas, involved in daily life nuances of citizens.

As part of the international postal organization and a designated postal operator, Sudan Post functions in all parts of the beloved country, it has been providing postal services as one of the main pillars of the government. Sudan Post is keen to provide the public with cutting edge, systematic manner, based on an effective and systematic basis, utilizing sophisticated and advanced working methods keeping up with modern technology.

The postal services in Sudan is diverse; it provides an integrated package of services, most notable are: EMS, letters, parcels and financial services such as savings, remittances and other services that support the post such as logistics transport, sale of electricity and recently, the travel-ticket booking services through Sudapost Travel and Tourism Agency. This is driven by the vision of Sudan Post towards the provision of an integrated system of financial and social services and to keep abreast of developments in the field of technology and communication.

At Sudan Post, we are preparing for the significant transformation that will take place in Sudan in 2025, which involves digital transformation and a shift towards e-government. Sudan Post will serve as the executive arm for delivering these services and is considered an integral part of the state, closely aligned with its trends and public policies. It offers financial inclusion services in both traditional and electronic forms, including domestic and international transfers, pension distribution, direct cash support, and electricity sales. The support for financial services is based on the fact that Sudan Post is the oldest financial institution in Sudan, and based on a legacy of accumulated experience in providing financial services through postal outlets spread across the country.

In the context of the global dimension of postal services, we at Sudan Post are a key member of the E-commerce Readiness Project in Africa, initiated by the Universal Postal Union, we have made significant progress by forming a national team and building capacities.

We are also pleased to inform our valued customers about the upcoming launch of an electronic application - "Breedek" - which will encompass all postal services, and will allow customers to request any postal service from their own location without the need to visit the post office.

In conclusion, the post and its diverse, innovative services will remain a vital contributor to development and progress, serving as a proud reflection of a rich heritage and a bright future for postal services in a nation of growth and giving.
